Risk assessment

Task-based risk assessment before mobilisation and before each significant change of scope on site.

Permit-to-work compliance

Work is executed inside the operator's permit-to-work system, including isolation, hot work and confined space controls.

Toolbox talks

Daily pre-task briefings covering hazards, controls, roles and stop conditions.

Working at height

Access planning, fall protection, rescue provision and equipment inspection for elevated structural work.

Offshore safety

Offshore survival and medical requirements, helicopter and vessel transfer discipline, and platform-specific induction.

Site induction

Every team member completes client site induction and location-specific familiarisation before starting work.

PPE

Task-appropriate PPE, inspected and fit for purpose, including gas detection where required.

Environmental responsibility

Waste, spill and consumable controls for instrumentation and installation work.

Incident reporting

Reporting of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions into both StructIQ and client systems.

Emergency preparedness

Emergency roles, muster arrangements and evacuation procedures confirmed before work begins.

Stop-work authority

Every person on a StructIQ scope has unconditional authority to stop work, with no consequence for exercising it.

If a task cannot be done safely as planned, it stops. Work resumes only after the hazard is controlled and the change is agreed with the operator's representative.

StructIQ does not publish safety statistics that have not been recorded and verified.

Safety performance figures — total man-hours, lost-time incidents, TRIR and days without a lost-time incident — are recorded internally and will be published here once verified. No figures are estimated or presented in the interim.
