Structural Health Monitoring

Instrumentation and engineering interpretation that show how a structure behaves between inspections.

Periodic inspection describes a structure at a point in time. Monitoring describes how it responds to real loading in the periods in between. StructIQ designs monitoring around a specific integrity question — not around a sensor catalogue — and interprets the resulting data against engineering models and acceptance thresholds.

What monitoring does not replace

Monitoring supplements, and does not replace, statutory or class-required inspection. StructIQ positions monitoring as additional evidence for integrity decisions, not as a substitute for a required inspection regime.
